The Boys Cast Reveal That Black Noir Will Be Terrifying In Season Two

Black Noir became one of the standouts in Amazon Prime’s The Boys season one. Partly because there’s so little known about him. Who is this character who doesn’t utter a word?

Fans of the comics will know the truth behind Black Noir’s identity, but you never know with live-action adaptations. The hit series has split away from the comics slightly, so we don’t know what is in store for Black Noir.

Except, that he’s going to be prevalent in season two. At C2E2, cast members of The Boys were asked about Black Noir, to which Karl Urban revealed:

“You’re gonna love what’s coming up for Black Noire. It is so good. He’s thread very well through the whole series and culminates in some diabolical action which I can’t get too specific about at this point. And you may even find out what his Kryptonite is.”

Co-star Antony Starr added:

“He’s right. Black Noir, I think of all the characters from season two, I think they probably wrote to him the strongest in season two in my opinion. Black Noir is like a f***ing force in season two.”

Erin Moriarty added:

“He’s terrifying.”

Some time ago, we interview Nathan Mitchell, who played Black Noir in season one. For that interview, click here.

What do you think of The Boys and are you excited for Black Noir to have a larger and scarier role?
