It’s Brendan Fraser’s world and we’re just living in it. And I’m perfectly fine with that. The CW has officially acquired Professional – an international series that’s a loose remake of the Christian Slater movie Soldiers of Fortune. Professionals stars Fraser and Tom Welling as Vincent Corbo – who is a “top-tier security operative”. His character is paid to protect his big-name clients; whether it’s by legal or illegal means.
In Professionals, Welling’s character is hired by Fraser’s Peter Swann (a designer-billionaire futurist). Elena Anaya plays Dr. Grace Davila – Vincent Corbo’s former paramour and Swann’s fiance. This only get more complicated from there in a conspiracy theory that has major repercussions.
