The CW is canceling Supergirl. The Melissa Benoist-led superhero show will conclude after its sixth season. The final season is set to return to production in Vancouver later this month. There will be twenty episodes and the sixth season will premiere in 2021.
The show was originally developed and aired on CBS before The CW nabbed it. It has been a part of the Arrowverse ever since, with Supergirl being involved in several major crossover events.

With Supergirl leaving, The CW will have The Flash, Legends of Tomorrow, Black Lightning, Batwoman, and Superman & Lois. What do you think of Supergirl getting the ax?
