[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”11784″ img_size=”900×450″ alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]Ah, I can go on and on about the disappointment I feel in my bones over the cancellation of the Marvel shows on Netflix. I could comment on how I feel that Netflix has not done right by us by not making a blanket statement or even by waiting for The Punisher season two and Jessica Jones season three to come out before “canceling” them. There’s so much to say about everything that is going on between Marvel, Netflix, and Disney; how we’re the children getting caught in between the crosshairs of the parental’s dispute. Who knew walking into 2018, as we were excited for all the new installments; that we’d be seeing the end of an era.
Dramatic, yes; but I’m feeling up to it. Don’t expect to see these shows on the Disney+ streaming site anytime soon. With Jessica Jones’s season three most likely to be the end, it would push the deal with Netflix and Marvel further out. So, even if Disney+ would bring them on, it would be a few years before we see new installments, which is unlikely. These Defenders shows are far grittier and mature than a family friendly organization would support. Can you imagine The Punisher on the Disney channel? Hell no.
What do you think of the developments in the Netflix Marvel world? Let us know!
