The Devil Returns in New ‘Daredevil’ Date Announcement Video

Matt Murdock does not look in a good way in the recent video posted by Daredevil’s official Twitter page. Officially announcing season three’s return on October 19th, the Devil of Hell’s Kitchen has taken a page out of The Punisher’s book; evil must be gotten rid of once and for all. I would be lying if I said I didn’t have chills right now. Wow. Daredevil has always had some dark undertones, but I really think that Karen Page actress Deborah Ann Woll was right when she said this season would leave us naked on the floor, wanting more.

We see in the video, Matt bloodied, fighting, and in his original black costume from season one. He describes trying to trap evil behind bars, the way he used to. We see what could look like a priest’s robe, symbolizing perhaps his religious affiliation. In the end, Matt is smirking and says, “let the Devil out”. Wow, wow, wow! I cannot stop saying that – we are really going to see a no holds bar version of Daredevil this upcoming season and I cannot wait. I’m so happy they did not put this season of until 2019 and after Iron Fist season 2, we’re all ready for more. Bring it on!
