‘The Expendables’ Randy Couture Says Fourth Film Could Start Production This Year

There hasn’t been an Expendables film since 2014, but it seems the fourth film in the franchise could start filming this year. This is according to Randy Couture, who played Toll Road in all three movies.

In a recent interview, Couture revealed:

“It sounds like we’re gonna get to do [The Expendables 4]. They’ve been kicking it around for a couple of years now but I’ve just recently heard from my agent that they’re working on the script for [EX4] and they’re planning to schedule filming of Expendables 4 for this next fall. So I haven’t seen the script yet. They had one a couple years ago that they were talking about making Expendables 4 out of and then [the previous script] comes away, you just never know, it’s such a weird business sometimes…”

The Expendables franchise felt like a blast from the past – bringing in classic eighties action stars like Sylvester Stallone, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Dolph Lundgren, and more. The Expendables also brought in a lot of MMA fighters to have a great blend of kickass players in the franchise.

Are you looking forward to Expendables 4?
