Due to a screening in Miami, lucky fans were able to get a look at the upcoming DC movie Shazam! and due to the embargo lifting, people are heading to Twitter to express their thoughts and feelings. Starring Zachary Levi, Shazam! tells the story of a young foster child who then gains the powers of a superhero and let’s take a look at what those lucky people have to say:
I’ll answer a few questions on #Shazam but please don’t ask for specifics, hints or spoilers. I can’t help you there and, honestly, I don’t want to. If you just want a recommendation, you got it. My 9-year-old loved it and I can’t wait to see it again. @joblocom

Zachary Levi was born to play #Shazam He delivers lots of laughs alongside co-star Jack Dylan Grazer. The film packs some big surprises for comics buffs and offers enough mainstream appeal to win over new fans. Shazam’s strengths definitely outweigh its weaknesses. pic.twitter.com/kfFMW01jfO

Finally allowed to say that #Shazam was fantastic! Full of heart and pure childhood wish fulfillment. It's funny and the tone is exactly right. @zacharylevi is perfect in the role, and so is @asherangel, who I'm convinced is @maisie_williams' brother! pic.twitter.com/DXhp2ZBteR

#Shazam is also a film that absolutely lives and breathes in the wider DCEU and numerous callbacks (some of them quite hilarious) are featured throughout. Lots of cool nods and surprises throughout. Stay all the way to the end credits. @joblocom @ShazamMovie

As you can see, the reactions are wildly positive, which is just amazing! I think that we all had a feeling that not only would Levi deliver a great time, but that we’d have a fun movie to take the whole movie to see. Personally, I cannot wait to see it and as we hear more, we will certainly inform! Shazam! hits theaters for the general public on April 5th of this year!
