‘The Flash’ Could Start Filming in February 2019

One of them being Ezra Miller’s rendition of Barry Allen aka the Flash. According to reports, the film centered around the scarlet speedster will begin production in February of 2019.

Miller’s Barry Allen added some sparks of comic relief in Justice League, as someone who didn’t feel connected with the rest of humanity and was desperately in search of an accepting community. As the one superhero who hadn’t been in a fight prior, he certainly got a load of experience aligning with the likes of Wonder Woman and Aquaman.

I can imagine that The Flash will explore Barry’s past, though; for those who have seen the CW show, we have already seen how Barry’s father comes to be imprisoned and how his mother passes. Still, we’ve seen Bruce Wayne’s parents die dozens of times in film, TV, and comic books, so nothing new there.

John Francis and Jonathan Goldstein, both writers of Spider-Man: Homecoming, will be directing the movie. This doesn’t come as a surprise to be as Tom Holland’s Spider-Man movie was very light and equally endearing, something that I believe we can expect for a Barry Allen solo film. Joby Harold has written the script and it is unclear was story arc we will see.

Kiersey Clemons will be making her appearance as Iris West and Billy Crudup is expected to reprise his role as Henry Allen, Barry’s wrongly convicted father. I do wonder if Jai Courtney will be making a cameo as Captain Boomerang as he is one of Flash’s villains and we did see a small interaction between the two in Suicide Squad.
