Scout Taylor-Compton stars as Grace, who has been attempting to track down her biological parents for years. One day she receives a call from a Mr. Caldwell, someone she had been in contact with previously, beckoning her to come to his plantation house in the countryside based on information he’s gathered.

Nolan Gerard Funk plays Grace’s boyfriend Jack, reluctant about anything positive resulting in this wild goose chase, nevertheless along for the ride. The Long Night will pull in audiences keen on exploring its outward premise of mysterious cult practices that give way to unknowable cosmic horrors.

With its air of mystery & fantasy, and a little “cabin in the woods” thrown in for flavor, The Long Night has an intriguing journey in mind for its viewers. While not everyone will find themselves captivated by the film’s slow-burning first half, the film’s performances throughout and climactic moments are positively compelling enough to keep you engaged.

The film also features Jeff Fahey, and stars Deborah Kara Unger and Kevin Ragsdale. The Long Night is available on VOD from Well Go USA.
