Scanlan who was cast as Lobo, is getting his own series. EP Cameron Welsh is said to be serving as executive producer and writer. THR also is reporting that SYFY would like to get a deal closed with Scanlan as soon as possible to get started on the pilot. Krypton season 2 will mark the first time Lobo has appeared in live action.

Talks of a Lobo film featuring Michael Bay were reported some time back but with Warner Bros going through the motions after the merger with AT&T and their new direction with their DC Universe, there is no certainty that the film will ever be made.  We spoke with Emmett in an exclusive interview a few weeks back and he told us he has always been a fan of Lobo ever since he saw the Marvel/DC crossover comic where Lobo fought Wolverine in a bar.
