Calling all iCarly fans! The series is coming back!
Say what?! Yes, the very popular Nickelodeon series is getting a revival from Paramount+ Streaming Services. (now known as CBS All Access). Returning to the series are originals stars Miranda Cosgrove (Carly), Jerry Trainor (Spencer), and Nathan Kress (Freddie).
Who you may ask is heading up the development of the series? None other than Jay Kogen (School of Rock, Frasier, The Simpsons) and Ail Schouten (Champions, Merry Happy Whatever, Dairy of a Future President).
The series originally aired on Nickelodeon from 2007-2012 and was created by Dan Schneider. The show followed best friends Carly and Samantha who created their own webcast. Bring in a goofy brother and fellow friend and cameraman Freddie and the laughs were endless. Their adventures and how they dealt with everyday middle / high school problems was a huge hit in my house with girls the same age at the time.
CBS Rebranded
CBS All Access will be rebranded as Paramount+ sometime in early 2021. Having to cancel my subscription due to not overly impressed at the content, now I’m looking to re-subscribe in the near future. The service will be combing content from CBS shows, MTV, Comedy Central, Nickelodeon, BET, and the Paramount Network. All original in one spot for our viewing purposes.

“Paramount is an iconic and storied brand beloved by consumers all over the world, and it is synonymous with quality, integrity, and world-class storytelling,” president and CEO Bob Bakish said in a statement at the time. “With Paramount+, we’re excited to establish one global streaming brand in the broad-pay segment that will draw on the sheer breadth and depth of the ViacomCBS portfolio to offer an extraordinary collection of content for everyone to enjoy.”
So far no word on if Jennette McCurdy will return as Sam Puckett. I hope so but understand if she’s moved on to other things. What do you think? Are you excited? Let us know!

Mamma, Mimi, Michele, call out any one of those names and I will answer. There are several hats on my shelf. My passions are photography, being outside, movies, tv, pop culture and anything haunted or spooky. People are my other interest, I love meeting new people and socializing. When I lived in Savannah GA I worked as a tour guide both haunted and historical tours. I met people from all over the world, that was the best part of the job. All of this I can write about too, that’s the beauty of being a writer.
