I’m very looking forward to seeing it, to watching it, as the audience, I hope.” His comments have added to the buzz, especially for fans eager to see what’s next for the immortal team led by Charlize Theron’s character, Andy.

The Old Guard, based on the graphic novel by Greg Rucka, follows a group of mercenaries who have one unique trait: they’re immortal, with an extraordinary ability to heal from injuries. The first film captivated audiences with its mix of high-stakes action and compelling backstory, as the immortal team fights to protect their freedom when they realize their secret may be exposed.
