[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]On Sunday April 21st, Avengers: Endgame directors Anthony and Joe Russo tweeted out a reminder for fans regarding the film’s world premiere on Monday, April 22nd in Los Angeles. The tweet simply states: “Avengers: Endgame premieres in 24 hours…#EndgamePremiereLA”.
The Russo Brothers want this reminder to also serve as a warning for moviegoers who are patiently waiting for Endgame to finally be released in movie theaters everywhere. Tonight’s movie premiere is the very first public screening of Endgame and we are sure to see our fair share of spoilers scattered across the Internet soon after the end credits start rolling in.
Even Joe Russo made a previous comment to Box Office Pro, saying “I think this one has even more spoilers than the last one” (referring to Avengers: Infinity War). He continues by saying “This is a culture that wants everything now, and it’s getting worse. The world is connected via social media, and information travels within seconds. If you’ve been following along with this narrative for 10 years, you’re going to want to protect yourself. It’s best to go in clean. I encourage people to go opening weekend because I’m sure everything is going to hit the Internet the moment the movie hits the screen.”
Earlier this month, the Russo Brothers actually made a previous statement announcing Endgame as “the end of an unprecedented narrative mosaic spanning eleven years and eleven franchises,” launching with it the #DontSpoilTheEndgame hashtag. The full letter can be seen below:
