Fans are highly anticipating his next film which will be a DC property, The Suicide Squad, and filming is set to begin in a couple of weeks. Yesterday we reported on some possible plot details surrounding the film.
Earlier last week Deadline reported that Peter Capaldi has been cast in an unknown role and Pete Davidson might appear in a cameo role. We also got news that Nathan Fillion and Steve Agee had been cast as well. The movie so far has a stacked line up of characters but that has not stopped fans from wanting more. Ask and ye shall receive. Gunn was asked by a Twitter user when we might get more casting news, to which Gunn replied “Soooooon, sorting it out”

More casting announcements? This movie already has Idris Elba, Margot Robbie, Joel Kinnaman, Viola Davis, Jai Courtney, David Dastmalchian, Storm Reid, John Cena (unconfirmed) and Daniela Melchior. Who else could they possibly be adding? Could we see Benicio del Toro who has been rumored to be on Gunn’s radar? Guess we will find out soon enough.
