Bob Belcher is a Thanksgiving fanboy and I love that from him. Bob’s Burgers always does a great job with their holiday-themed episodes, but their Thanksgiving episodes are the best. Thanksgiving is personally one of my favorite holidays that often gets looked over, so having a character like Bob look forward to the turkey-laden day so much always makes for great entertainment. With thirteen seasons under its belt, Bob’s Burgers has had eight different Thanksgiving specials.

Here are the top three episodes that you need to watch this Thanksgiving.

    S3E5: An Indecent Thanksgiving Proposal

Bob’s Burger’s first Thanksgiving episode is still its best. Not only did it give us the official Thanksgiving song (🎶 Pass the Cranberry Sauce 🎶), but we get Bob drunk on absinthe, singing with a gigantic turkey hallucination. Bob’s family has to pretend to be Mr. Fischoeder’s family for the day and as suspected, chaos ensues. It’s funny, whacky, and heartwarming. It really is the perfect ode to Thanksgiving.

    S4E5: Turkey in a Can

In this Thanksgiving episode, Bob is trying to find the culprit behind the turkeys in the toilet he’s finding every morning. It’s already a bad time for Bob – he loves Thanksgiving, he wants to make the perfect brine, and having to get a new turkey from the store every day is making him look bad in front of the deli clerk (though, it might have established a possible love connection?). The reason behind Bob finding a turkey in his toilet every morning is surprisingly an endearing one and really brings the episode together in a heartwarming manner.

    S5E4: Dawn of the Peck

This episode is truly my favorite Thanksgiving episode in Bob’s Burgers. It consists of Bob’s family wanting to do something different on the holiday and Bob missing the magic he feels from making a Thanksgiving dinner. The episode is equally hilarious and ridiculous, with some clever Jurassic Park references sprinkled in. I personally found this episode to be funny as hell and I’ll never miss a chance to rewatch it.

What’s your favorite Thanksgiving special on Bob’s Burgers? Let us know!
