- Polaroid Camera’s
These throwback camera’s that your parents were using to take lasting memories of your childhood are back and in a big way. Using these instant camera’s you can take nostalgic pictures with friends and family. A few companies releasing instant camera’s include:
- Fujifilm
- Polaroid
- Kodak
- HP
Any of these sound familiar? That’s most likely because they were major brands back in the day. In fact, Kodak controlled 90 percent of the film market but failed to keep up with the changing times and ended up filing for bankruptcy.
- Collectible Cards
The trading cards you collected as a kid are also making a strong comeback. Trading cards have been popping up the last few years, but they really took off in 2020 and are looking to continue the momentum this year.
The e-commerce company eBay reported a 142 percent growth in trading card sales. The most popular cards are:
- Pokemon
- Basketball
- Baseball
- Magic the Gathering
- And Football
If you have any of these cards lying around, you might want to bring them out from storage as some of them are selling for millions of dollars.
- TV Show Reunions
Your favorite cast from the TV show you used to watch all night is coming back to the big screen. Some of the most popular TV shows from the ’80s and ’90s are getting the crew back together and filming new episodes.
It’s fun getting to watch these reunions and seeing the differences in the characters between then and now. Some of the characters from these nostalgic tv shows look exactly the same. It’s as if you stepped into a time machine.
- Vinyl Records
Back in the day, vinyl records were the thing to have. Unfortunately, new technology came around, and they began to lose their special place in people’s hearts.
Now, they are back again. With people no longer interested in CDs, they have turned back to vinyl records to fill the need for a physical copy. It just doesn’t cut it anymore to have an iPod filled with 1,000’s of songs.
- Sweets
Candy will always have a special place in the world. However, even candy isn’t immune to the rapid pace of change in the U.S consumer’s preferences. Nostalgic candy is popping up in sweet shops and even unexpected places like gas stations and grocery stores.
Remember eating things like gummy burgers, baby bottle pops, and wonder ball? These are some of the most popular sweets starting to make their way back into the mainstream.

It’s always nice to come across something from your childhood that reminds you of the good times you used to have. A good nostalgic moment is enough to brighten anyone’s day and put a smile on their face. Keep a lookout for these items the next time you are shopping around the store.
