Zachary Levi has been cast in Jon Gunn’s The Unbreakable Boy. This Kingdom Story Company project is inspired by a true story. Gunn will serve as the director and screenwriter.
The Unbreakable Boy is based on the Scott M. LeRette book with Susy Flory. The story will follow Austin – a child born with a very rare brittle-bone disease and autism. Despite the odds, Austin is a happy-go-lucky kid who transforms the lives of those around him. This includes his dad Scott – played by Levi. During the course of the film, Scott will see his son as a symbol of hope and love as opposed to being viewed as “broken”.
