[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”14584″ img_size=”768×433″ add_caption=”yes” alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]As first reported by our friend Mario Robles over at Revenge of the Fans, Robert Kirkman’s creation Invincible is coming to animated life (now, not reanimated like the walkers he’s created on The Walking Dead), on Amazon Prime. Joining his newest endeavor are the likes Seth Rogen, Gillian Jacobs, Andrew Rannells, and Zazie Beetz. Joining them? Well, none other than Steven Yeun, who played Glenn Rhee on The Walking Dead for seven seasons. Bringing Yeun and Kirkman together again, they’re also joined by J.K. Simmons, Sandra Oh, Walter Goggins, Mark Hammill, Jason Mantzoukas, Mae Whitman, Chris Diamantopoulos, and so many more. Talk about one star-studded cast for this new series where they’ll all lend their voices for.
Each episode will be an hour long, totally eight episodes which will focus around Mark Grayson (Yeun) as he explores being the son of a man who is known as the most powerful superhero in the world – Omni-Man, played by Simmons. Mark eventually develops powers of his own and he slowly realizes that his father’s legacy may not be as heroic as he thought it was. The series will hit Amazon in 2020.
