The Wild Bunch is looking at a remake by none other than Mel Gibson and the actor/director apparently already has some actors in mind that he wants to bring on board. According to Deadline, it seems that Michael Fassbender, Jamie Foxx, and Peter Dinklage are in early takes to jump on board, which would be an immense amount of talent already for the remake of the 1969 film.
The Wild Bunch remake’s script has been written by Brian Bagby and Jerry Bruckheimer is producing the film. While there is nothing set in stone, if all goes well the movie might be beginning production sometime this fall. This will be the first film Mel Gibson is involved in since 2016’s Hacksaw Ridge, which went on to win two Oscars and received four other nominations. With the talent that is being looked at, it’s very possible that this movie could receive high praise as well.
Are you wanting to see Fassbender, Foxx, and Dinklage jump on board? Let us know!
