Does it seem like 100 years ago that Ben Affleck was preparing to direct the new Batman movie using a script he co-wrote with Geoff Johns? It does to me. Since then Affleck has left the project, at least as director and been replaced by Matt Reeves. However, before all hell broke loose and everything was still a go, an actor named Ryan Potter sent in a tape with the hope to play Tim Drake. Flash forward to now where that same Ryan Potter is playing Beast Boy in the new Titans series for the DC Universe.
Geoff Johns, who was promoting the upcoming release of Titans, reflected back on that time where Potter sent in his tapes to play Tim Drake back in the good old days when he and Affleck were still working on The Batman as reflected in this tweet.

He even sent a fight concept video to prove he was up to the task:
Fear not however as young Mr. Potter’s skills would be put to use in the DC Universe after all in his role as Garfield “Gar” Logan or as he is better known as Beast Boy. So if things had been different and Ben Affleck and Johns still had running the show, do you think Ryan Potter could have filled the role of Tim Drake…if the character was even in their version of the movie?
