Tom King is set to co-write New Gods with Ava DuVernay! For those who do not know who Tom King is, he is a comic book writer and is know for Mister Miracle and Batman.

King is coming off the multi-Eisner award-winning comic series “Mister Miracle” that features the New Gods and is centered around the love story between Mister Miracle and Big Barda. King received the 2018 Eisner Award for Best Writer for his work on “Batman” and “Mister Miracle.”

Tom King is one of the best comic book writers in the industry and for him to help out Ava DuVernay, who is a great director. This news has gotten me even more excited for New Gods than ever before.

Editors note* I have heard WB wants to fast track this film with possible filming to begin next year for a 2022 release
