[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”29812″ img_size=”900×500″ alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]Here it is – the news you have all been waiting for. According to EW, Tom Welling will reprise his role as Clark Kent in The CW’s upcoming Arrowverse crossover Crisis on Infinite Earths. Welling played Clark Kent, a Superman prequel series; on Smallville and after all of the other great announcements, such as Kevin Conroy coming in to play Bruce Wayne; fans have been calling for this. We will see the return of Tyler Hoechlin and Brandon Routh as Supes, but now we will have a fan favorite Superman to add to the crossover.

Crossover executive producer Marc Guggenheim stated:

“For eight years, Arrow has stood on the shoulders of Smallville. Simply put, there would be no Arrow, and no Arrowverse, without it. So when we first started talking about Crisis on Infinite Earths, our first, second and third priorities were getting Tom to reprise his iconic role as Clark Kent. To say that we’re thrilled would be a Superman-sized understatement.”

The details of Welling’s appearance are that the crossover will “reveal what happened to Clark Kent almost ten years” after the conclusion of Smallville.

Fans of the ten season long Smallville will be happy to know that they can look forward to Welling joining this massive event. Which, will be the Arrow’s last time in a CW crossover event.

Are you happy to know Welling will be in the Crisis on Infinite Earths?[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
