‘Toy Story 4’ Crosses $1 Billion Mark, Setting A New Record For Disney

As of today, Toy Story 4 has officially made over $1 billion at the global box office.

Not only does this make Toy Story 4 the fourth Pixar movie to join the billion-dollar club but it also marks as the fifth Disney movie to do so this year alone.

This means Disney just set a new record as the first studio to have five films gross over $1 billion in a single year. In 2019 alone, Avengers: Endgame, Captain Marvel, Aladdin, The Lion King and now Toy Story 4 have soared past the billion-dollar mark.

Considering this is a massive feat, it is worth mentioning Disney beat its own personal record, previously set in 2016, with four films having reached the billion-dollar mark. There is still more to come for the conglomerate studio since the company will soon release Frozen 2, a Maleficent sequel and Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker in the coming months.

Needless to say, there is no stopping Disney now.
