While we may have not gotten the iconic black Superman suit in Justice League, Tyler Hoechilin’s rendition will be donning the costume in the upcoming Arrowverse Elseworlds crossover event, which will premiere the debut of Ruby Rose’s Batwoman. The reveal of the outfit was revealed in a behind the scenes photo, featuring both Grant Gustin and Stephen Amell.

There are several theories as to why he’s wearing a black suit; one could be due to mourning, similar to Superman’s reasoning in the comics, or due to the nature of the Arrowverse and all the multi-universes that exist, it is possible that we will get to see an evil version of Clark Kent, which would be an interesting take for viewers to get.
The suit can elicit excitement from fans, but I am hoping that special effects will go in to make the suit a little more jazzed up, because as of right now, it’s looking a little plain.
