A boy stands inside a phone booth using the phone, while a person wearing a creepy mask and dark clothing stands outside, looking at him. Snow is falling around them.

Universal Pictures Home Entertainment has announced that they will be releasing the haunting sequel to the critically acclaimed horror phenomenon, Black Phone 2, on 4K UHD, Blu-Ray, and DVD on December 23, 2025. The film is currently available on Digital platforms. The film comes from director Scott Derickson, and Ethan Hawke (First Reformed) returns to his most disturbing role as deranged serial killer The Grabber opposite Mason Thames (How to Train Your Dragon franchise, Incoming) in his breakout feature film role as Finn. The film also features a talented ensemble cast including Demián Bichir (The Nun, A Better Life) Miguel Mora (The Black Phone), Jeremy Davies (“Justified”), and Arianna Rivas (A Working Man).

Expanding on the original short story by Joe Hill, the sequel comes home with all-new bonus content when purchased at participating retailers, including seven deleted scenes and in-depth behind-the-scenes featurettes, bringing home even more intensity and shocking new scares and secrets. The 4K UHD Blu-Ray will be presented in Dolby Vision with Dolby Atmos audio. Get more details below!

Synopsis: True evil transcends death and the black phone rings again as The Grabber (Hawke) torments Finn (Thames) from beyond the grave by menacing his sister Gwen (Madeline McGraw; Toy Story 4, “Secrets of Sulphur Springs”).
