    Universal To Release The Academy Award-Nominated ‘Women Talking’ On Blu-Ray This March

    Universal Pictures Home Entertainment has announced that they will be releasing the Academy Award-nominated drama Women Talking on Digital on February 21, and on Blu-Ray and DVD on March 7, 2023. Written and directed by Academy Award nominated filmmaker Sarah Polley, the film showcases performances from Academy Award winner Frances McDormand (Nomadland), Critic’s Choice Award winner Rooney Mara (Carol), Emmy Award winner Claire Foy (“The Crown”), BAFTA Award winner Jessie Buckley (The Lost Daughter), and Sheila McCarthy (I’ve Heard the Mermaids Sing) along with Emmy Award winner Ben Whishaw (“A Very English Scandal”).     Synopsis: An adaptation of Miriam Toews’s internationally bestselling novel of the same name and inspired by true events, the “powerful” (Todd McCarthy, Deadline) and “extraordinarily vital” (Baz Bamigboye, Deadline) film follows the women of an isolated religious community who grapple with reconciling their reality with their faith.
