Universal To Release The Woody Harrelson Comedy 'Champions' On Blu-Ray This May

Universal Pictures Home Entertainment has announced that they will be releasing the heartwarming comedy Champions on Digital on April 28, and on Blu-Ray and DVD on May 2, 2023. From acclaimed comedic filmmaker Bobby Farrelly (There’s Something About Mary, Me, Myself & Irene), the film stars three-time Academy Award nominee Woody Harrelson alongside Kaitlin Olson, Ernie Hudson, and Cheech Marin. The film will be available to own exclusively in a special Collector’s Edition with all-new exclusive bonus content, including 12 hilarious deleted scenes and more. Get the details below!

Synopsis: Earning an “A” CinemaScore, and a 95% audience score on Rotten Tomatoes, Harrelson (Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri, The People vs Larry Flynt), stars in the hilarious and heartwarming story of a former minor-league basketball coach who, after a series of missteps, is ordered by the court to manage a team of players with intellectual disabilities. He soon realizes that despite his doubts, together, this team can go further than they ever imagined.
