The City of Gold will feature an anguished media magnate, Jonathan Davenport; who accompanies his estranged lover to the Peruvian Amazon, where they are searching for a reclusive artist. While they originally have philanthropic intentions for the trip, they soon find out that the mission has dark and ominous roots that are deeply embedded in Jonathan.
