Hobbs & Shaw may be the upcoming action-packed film that fans are excited for, but don’t forget that a ninth Fast & Furious movie is in the works. This car-centric franchise spawned the spin-off Hobbs & Shaw and it’s not done making movies yet.
Fans will be happy to know that two previous cast members will return. Charlize Theron and Helen Mirren made their debuts in 2017 and will reprise their roles as Cipher and Magdalene Shaw.
Vin Diesel announced the news.
“We’ve got a lot of the original cast here. Including Oscar winners like Charlize Theron and Helen Mirren, a few new surprises, including John Cena, who, I think, completely shines in this movie.”
While Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham are busy with Hobbs & Shaw, the ninth Fast & Furious will see star Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Nathalie Emmanuel, Lucas Black, Tyrese Gibson, and Ludacris. The movie will hit theaters on May 22, 2020.
