Walter Hamada Testified At Amber Heard’s Defamation Hearing

Walter Hamada, the President of DC Films; was reportedly president for the recent defamation case against Amber Heard – according to Puck News. This latest case is the result of an ongoing legal battle between Johnny Depp and his ex-wife Heard, who plays Mera in DC’s Aquaman films.

Hamada was there for the three-hour deposition and testified on Heard’s role in the Aquaman and The Lost Kingdom projects. Initially, Heard’s option was declined before being brought back for the upcoming Aquaman sequel. Hamada stated, allegedly, that the initial decline was a result of a lack of chemistry between Heard and the leading actor, Jason Momoa.

The case between Depp and Heard is still ongoing, but it is interesting to note that her presence at DC seems to be a reluctant one. What do you think?
