I want to try to explain it as best I can. In 2013 – 2017 all film projects were under the reign of Geoff Johns and Jon Berg. This includes:

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016)
Suicide Squad (2016)
Wonder Woman (2017)
Justice League (2017)
This also includes all of the upcoming projects they had planned out too

Once again this was all planned out by Geoff Johns and Jon Berg. The reason why Wonder Woman, Shazam, and Aquaman is still being released is because they were already in Pre-Production or further in the production stage at the time. Keep in mind just because a film is in Pre-Production doesn’t mean it will always get made.

As for The Batman film we got a new director, Matt Reeves, before Walter Hamada became head of Dc film, so that was saved. We also recently heard that Matt Reeves turned in his first draft of the script supposedly, and Reeves talk about the Batman a month ago, so we can rest assured that The Batman film will be in Pre-production soon.

Geoff John recently talked about how the Green Lantern Corps film is defiantly happening and is writing a script for Warner Bros. Me personally would take this on a grain assault at least since it is still in the Development stage.
The Flash is still happening, but it will not be Flashpoint, and thank god. Flashpoint isn’t a storyline that the first film should be about. I wouldn’t mind carrying it through like a trilogy it’s a big enough arc.

I am going to be totally honest with you. Nightwing will probably not happen in the film universe. Yes, Chris McKay said he isn’t going anywhere, but once again new person in charge means new plans, and I think these plans are coming together as we speak. With the announcement of the dc universe titans show.

Now all the other films that have been announced but are still in development can be kicked off Walter Hamada and his team plans for their World of dc. Those films were announced in 2017. This includes:

Many people have been saying that the Man of Steel sequal has been cancelled, but the reality is the sequel for Man of Steel wasn’t cancelled it was never announced it wasn’t in pre-production heck it wasn’t even in development people just assumed that we were getting one.
There was a part of the article that I found interesting in the Hollywood Reporter. It said
A Warners source says the Shazam! deal fell apart because of scheduling conflicts. And that is backed up by the fact that Cavill recently signed on to star in the Netflix series The Witcher. However, another source says
that the Witcher commitment came after the Warners impasse, suggesting a change in the studio’s strategy.”There’s a recognition that some parts of the previous movies didn’t work,” says the studio insider.
Another source says Warners is trying to hit a “reset” button with the DC universe, steering its ship slowly into another direction.
There is a lot of source telling Hollywood reporter something different. I can’t help but feel like some of this is made up. I believe that Henry couldn’t do the SHAZAM cameo. I also believe they aren’t going to focus on superman for the time being.
What I don’t believe is that Henry left Warner Bros completely. In the Hollywood article it says
“Warners isn’t likely to make a solo Superman film for at least several years,” according to another source.
This source gives us hope saying that another superman movie will not happened in several years, so Man of Steel 2 can still happen. Why does Henry Cavill have to leave completely if there is a possibility for them making another Superman movie.

I’m going to stop by saying this. The World of DC is a mess right now, but that’s because it is in a middle of a transition. I can almost guarantee you that it will be better after Aquaman, SHAZAM, The Joker, and Wonder Woman. We will have a better understanding of Walters plan throughout 2019, so those struggling throughout the horror of 2013-2017 please do not give up now. I know I didn’t talk about everything say please comment your thoughts I would love to discuss things that I missed or what you all do not agree on.
