Warner Bros. Home Entertainment has officially announced that the DC adaptation of Constantine will be available to own for the first time on Digital 4K UHD and 4K UHD Blu-Ray on February 18, 2025. Directed by Francis Lawrence from the screenplay by Andrew Kevin Walker, the film stars Keanu Reeves (The Matrix films, Speed), Academy Award winner Rachel Weisz (The Constant Gardener, About a Boy), Shia LaBeouf (the Transformers films, Fury), Academy Award winner Tilda Swinton (Michael Clayton, Dr. Strange), Pruitt Taylor Vince (JFK), Academy Award nominee Djimon Hounsou (Blood Diamond, Shazam!), Gavin Rossdale (Zoolander) and Peter Stormare (Fargo, The Big Lebowski).
The 4K restoration of Constantine was completed at Warner Bros. Discovery’s Motion Picture Imaging (MPI) and was sourced from the original camera negative. The restoration was overseen by director Francis Lawrence. The newly remastered film will also include new bonus content featuring Keanu Reeves and Francis Lawrence reflecting on the making of the film 20 years later. Get more details below!
Synopsis: Based on the DC Comics/Vertigo “Hellblazer” graphic novels and written by Kevin Brodbin and Frank Cappello, Constantinetells the story of John Constantine (Keanu Reeves), a man who has literally been to hell and back. When he teams up with skeptical policewoman Angela Dodson (Rachel Weisz) to solve the mysterious suicide of her twin sister, their investigation takes them through the world of demons and angels that exists just beneath the landscape of contemporary Los Angeles. Caught in a catastrophic series of otherworldly events, the two become inextricably involved and seek to find their own peace at whatever cost.
