Warner Bros. Home Entertainment has officially announced that the classic action thriller The Fugitive will be available to own for the first time on 4K UHD Blu-Ray and Digital on November 21, 2023, in celebration of its 30th anniversary. The 4K restoration of the film was completed at Warner Bros. Discovery’s Motion Picture Imaging (MPI) and was sourced from the original camera negative. The restoration was overseen by director Andrew Davis.
The film stars Academy Award nominee Harrison Ford as Dr. Richard Kimble and Tommy Lee Jones as Deputy U.S. Marshall Sam Gerard. The film also stars Sela Ward, Joe Pantoliano, Andreas Katsulas, and Jeroen Krabbé. The Fugitive was nominated for 7 Academy Awards including Best Picture and Best Supporting Actor, for which Jones won the award, and Best Original Score. Get more details below!

Synopsis: Wrongfully accused of murdering his wife, Richard Kimble (Harrison Ford) escapes from the law in an attempt to find her killer and clear his name. Pursuing him is a team of U.S. marshals led by Deputy Samuel Gerard (Tommy Lee Jones), a determined detective who will not rest until Richard is captured. As Richard leads the team through a series of intricate chases, he discovers the secrets behind his wife’s death and struggles to expose the killer before it is too late.
