Watch Dogs 3 Title and More Leaked Ahead of E3

So close Ubisoft. So Close yet so far. With E3 right around the corner, it was looking like Ubisoft might actually make it to the event without any major details regarding their flagship title watch Dogs 3 being leaked. Unfortunately for Ubisoft Amazon was on hand to dish out all the juicy details ahead of schedual.

Late yesterday, a listing for a game titled Watch Dogs Legion showed up on the Amazon UK site. As well as revealing the games apparent name the page also described some other interesting details about the open-world action game. They confirmed what has been rumored for quite some time now, and what many believed, that the game would be set in London. The Amazon page, which has now been taken down stated that Watch Dogs Legion is set in “a post-Brexit world in which society, politics, and technology have changed and altered London’s fortunes”. “Every individual you meet in the open world, has a full set of animations, voice over, character traits and visuals that are generated & guided by gameplay systems”, allowing players to “play as anyone.”

These details appear to have been confirmed by other sites with Kotaku stating the NPC technolgy is the reason the game has taken so long to get off the ground. On another note “Legion” was the rumored working title for the next Assassin’s Creed game set to release 2020. That could just be a coincidence or rumors simply being mixed up but hopefully, we’ll get some clarification shortly.

Despite the page being taken down Watch Dogs fans only have a few days left to wait before the Ubisoft E3 2019 press conference and it’s looking like Watch Dogs Legion is all but confirmed to be making an appearance. I’d imagine we’ll get an official reveal and hopefully some more details regarding the new NPC system the game will have.
