    What’s New On Max This April: The Last of Us, Hacks, And More

    April is bringing an exciting slate of new and returning content to Max, including highly anticipated seasons of hit series like The Last of Us, Hacks, and The Rehearsal. Alongside these series, comedy fans can look forward to a new HBO Original comedy special from Ted Lasso star Brett Goldstein, while A24 is delivering two buzzy films, Y2K and Babygirl. Here’s everything coming to Max this month.

    Hacks (Season 4) – Debuts April 10

    Rollout: Two episodes premiere on April 10, followed by one episode per week for four weeks. Episodes seven and eight drop on May 15, with episode nine on May 22 and the finale on May 29.
    Logline: Tensions rise as Deborah and Ava work to launch their late-night show and make history in the process.

    The Last of Us (Season 2) – Debuts April 13

    Episodes: 7
    Rollout: Weekly episodes beginning April 13. Season two will be available to stream in American Sign Language (ASL), with season one also becoming available in ASL starting March 31.
    Logline: Five years after season one, Joel and Ellie face new threats in an increasingly hostile world.
    Cast: Pedro Pascal, Bella Ramsey, Gabriel Luna, Rutina Wesley, Kaitlyn Dever, Isabela Merced, Young Mazino, Ariela Barer, Tati Gabrielle, and Jeffrey Wright, with guest star Catherine O’Hara.
