    Why Do People Love Superhero Stories so Much?

    Superhero stories have been a part of pop culture for a while. You can see it in comics, movies, and even the characters get associated with plenty of merchandise nowadays. With their dedication to doing good and preventing crimes, every one of us patronizes them so much. If you are wondering why people love superhero stories so much, then you can read this article to help you understand it.

    It’s for All Ages

    Contrary to popular belief, comic books and superhero stories are not only for kids but also for adults. Superhero stories gave everyone the ability to like and enjoy something that is from our childhood. The superhero movies that we are patronizing today came from comic book characters during the 30s through the ’90s. If you look at many websites of comic books, there is more info about superheroes that we loved.  Superman (Clark Kent) debuted in the comic in 1938, Batman (Bruce Wayne) has been known since  1939.

    Although fans started liking it from the comic book character, it was upgraded to the modern type of entertainment. This is one of the reasons we love superhero stories so much, it has been introduced to us at an early age, and now we are passing it to the next generation.

    It Reminds Us of the Good in Humanity

    We all feel good about reading the stories when the superhero saved the day or the world. Superheroes tend to have a remarkable amount of humanity. They constantly do good things through their superpowers and abilities. From a psychological point of view, we see ourselves as the superhero undergoing human experience and can still cope with it amidst all the challenges. Moreover, they are faced with the hardest challenges of their whole life and can still make choices for themselves while saving the world. In addition, it also deals with death and loss, which makes everyone sympathize with them. Superhero stories gave everyone the hope and inspiration that doing good in the world can be done amidst every obstacle.

    We Love Suspense and Excitement

    Superhero stories are one of the genres that people love so much. We love to think that in a parallel universe, there is something else that exists like that. When we need some excitement from our life, we tend to lean on fictional things. Superhero stories also allow us to think and imagine all sorts of possibilities. There are so many questions, and ideas superhero stories can invoke. The suspense and excitement, even the romance, fight scenes, and deaths, are enough to feed our minds imagination. These things can make us think and imagine for days. The stories trigger something like suspense and excitement, that is a good feeling.

    Superhero stories give us plenty of life lessons, it depicts many philosophical, cultural, and emotional notions. Moreover, it makes us delighted and optimistic about our own life. It gives us inspiring stories with values we can live up to. Lastly, it shows us that no matter how bad the situation gets, the good always wins.
