We’ve all heard it! ‘Prime Bottlers,’ ‘247 nights on top,’ ‘Too emotional,’ and other words thrown around to describe Arsenal last season. Pundits from Neville to Carragher were quick to tear down Mikel Arteta for the lack of spirit to go against a juggernaut in Manchester City.

Rival fans started bantering Arsenal for their lack of cojones to lift their first Premier League title after almost two decades. All these accusations are somewhat true. Arsenal did bottle the Premier League last season.

And we’re hearing only some things that could be different if Saliba was fit or if we had a goal-scoring number 9.

But, there’s something even rival fans can attest to,’ something is brewing at Emirates. We might not know what exactly, but we feel it coming. For football analysts, you can pay for essay services and still find unsurmountable evidence that Arsenal is on the rise.

    Are Arsenal Bottlers?

By imagination possible, Arsenal bottled last year, and a flawless six months of scintillating football lit the Premier League alive. The closest Arsenal came to bottling was in the 2015/16 season when Leicester City emerged as champions.

But, remember that same season, London rivals Tottenham were also in a supposed ‘title race’ before Chelsea did the entire League a favor. Therefore, it was a win-win situation for the Gunners. Watching your fiercest rival lift a trophy would end all the years of banter for the Lillywhites.

Spending 247 nights at the top of the League only to crumble at the end fits the description of bottlers. Maybe fate wasn’t destined for Mikel Arteta to lift the coveted trophy after a tumultuous first three years in charge.

Also, injuries to William Saliba and Tomiyasu left the defense weak while relying on the services of Rob Holding in a title run. Moreover, Gabriel Jesus isn’t a formidable 20-30 goal strike who can’t find the needed fitness per season.

Nobody gets it right on the third try, right? Our payforessay review shows this about students attempting to deliver high-quality assignments to their instructors.

In totality, Arsenal did bottle the League. But, doing as far as calming them bottlers is for sure premature.

Why We Should Take Arsenal Seriously

When writing, the Premier League looks like a three-horse race again. Manchester City took a slow start to the season, as they do each season, and are looking sharp and catching up with the rest.

Liverpool is fighting on all heels to give Jurgen Klopp a worthy send-off. But, the future of the Red remains quite bleak. Will Salah and Van Dijk stay? Will Trent Alexander Arnold ignore calls from Real Madrid to replace Dani Carvajal and form a football juggernaut alongside Mbappe, Jude Bellingham, and Vinicius Junior?

Then, there’s Arsenal! Fresh off a title run loss that saw many turn them into a banter club. But, there’s more than meets the eye than what London Colney, or Sobha Realty Training Center, is letting us on in.

The same players who experienced the heartbreaking moment last season are now mature and aware of the forces held by Pep Guardiola. The defeats to West Ham and Liverpool and draws to Southampton linger fresh in their minds.

This bitter-sweet relationship will only make them stronger in the foreseeable future. Bukayo Saka isn’t that youngster anymore fighting for a Golden Boy nomination. He is an established winger, the second-best winger in the League, with a point to prove.

Declan Rice is a major difference in midfield, capable of marshaling all attacks independently. It’s a worthy 100 million-rated signing that is proving rivals wrong. Add the ingeniousness of Martin Odegaard and the fiery Gabriel Martinelli, and you can’t discount Arsenal on a plausible title race.

Key Players for Arsenal in the Title Run

A title run might seem farfetched for most rivals hoping for another miserable season for the Gunners. However, here are players that could prove the difference in their bid for a title after twenty years:

    William Saliba

Better than Van Dijk? It is too soon to start making comparisons for the French youngster who took to the League like a knife through butter. All credit goes to Unai Emery, who saw the center’s potential and signed him.

Saliba is crucial for Arsenal’s defense. His calm, carefree, and athletic pose makes him a ‘Rolls Royce’ in defense against the all-action Gabriel. The back injury last season that ruled him out for over three months cost Arsenal a title run. Mikel Arteta must learn from last season and protect the youngster at all costs.

    Declan Rice

There was no doubt that Rice would be a star after moving from London rivals, West Ham. At first, there was much to say about the price tag. We all know how this big money moves end up. But we were wrong.

Mikel Arteta has yet to find the perfect balance in midfield while juggling the 6 and 8 positions. But, his future is set to take the helm from injury-riddled Thomas Partey. A fit Declan Rice could prove a difference between Liverpool and Manchester City.

    Tomiyasu

Some might wonder what a fringe player like Tomiyasu means in a title run. Is he better than Ben White, or can he invert on the left like Zinchenko? Tomiyasu’s injury crisis delayed his growth in Arsenal’s defense.

There’s no reason why the club is keen on offering him a contract extension, even though he spent more time this season on the bench. Tomiyasu is a highly versatile defender capable of filling any holes in defense. He is the perfect Ben White, Zinchenko, and Saliba replacement in case of any injury crisis.

    Timber

Arsenal fans were all up on their seats as they saw the debut of highly-rated defender Timber put on a show against reigning champions Manchester City in the FA Cup. Unfortunately, a UCL injury in the first match ruined a perfect start for the Ajax superstar.

His return to the side has no timeline, but he could prove crucial, especially in their Champions League run. Like Tomiyasu, he provides options for Arteta to consider in the backline.
