Deep within the Hundred Acre Wood, a destructive rage grows as Winnie-the-Pooh, Piglet, Owl, and Tigger find their home and their lives endangered after Christopher Robin revealed their existence. Not wanting to live in the shadows any longer, the group decides to take the fight to Christopher’s hometown of Ashdown, leaving a bloody trail of death and mayhem in their wake. Winnie and his savage friends will show everyone that they are deadlier, stronger, and smarter than anyone could ever imagine … and get their revenge on Christopher Robin once and for all.

Video Quality
Winnie The Pooh: Blood And Honey 2 arrives on Blu-Ray with a 1080p presentation that looks terrific. There was a bit of a budget upgrade for this one, so the visual aesthetic stands out more this time around. The transfer delivers a stellar amount of detail. The skin tones look discretely detailed and natural all around. Goopy elements of the makeup effect and inventive flourishes of the production design give the film some exceptional texture.
The film delights with bold colors on display in the atmospheric lighting and costumes, especially. This is a film with a consistent color palette that is executed faithfully here with ideal saturation. The highlights are handled with a deft hand along with the deep blacks that do not appear to suffer from any compression artifacts. There are no serious signs of any noise or other such digital nuisances outside of some fleeting banding. There is some nice depth at play in the image thanks to this transfer. This presentation holds up just as well as you would hope.
Audio Quality
The Blu-Ray disc comes with a DTS-HD 5.1 Master Audio track that packs a punch. Dialogue is given more attention this time around so it is not as overwhelmed by environmental effects. There remains an emphasis on thrilling moments that provide an intense workout with the various kills. The low-end response in the sound design will have you shaking in your seat. The environmental effects create a memorable soundscape of straightforward and heightened cinematic flourishes. The score is showcased well here with a persistent use of the surround speakers. This outing is more accurately balanced for a pleasant listening experience. Optional English SDH subtitles are provided.

Final Thoughts
Winnie The Pooh: Blood And Honey 2 is a sequel that improves upon its predecessor in every way. The first film was rather disappointing in terms of potential versus the execution of the idea. This follow-up embraces the absurdity of the endeavor wholeheartedly with a greater embrace of building mythology and injecting a bit of whimsy into the carnage. It is still ridiculous, yet it feels less mean-spirited and pedestrian. Scream Factory has given this film a Blu-Ray with a great A/V presentation but no meaningful special features. If you were disappointed by the first film but felt it had potential, give this one a try. Recommended
Winnie The Pooh: Blood And Honey 2 will be available to purchase on Blu-Ray on December 10, 2024.
