At the Anime Expo, WIT Studio producing the Great Pretender anime for release in 2020. The director stated that the anime will run for twenty-three episodes.
Wit Studio revealed the anime’s staff on Thursday. Yoshiyuki Sadamoto (Evangelion, FLCL) is designing the characters, and Hiro Kaburagi (Hozuki’s Coolheadedness, My Little Monster, 91 Days) is the animation director. Ryota Kosawa (Parasyte live-action film, Always: Sunset on Third Street live-action film series) is writing the scripts, and Yutaka Yamada (Tokyo Ghoul anime franchise, Vinland Saga) is composing the music. Maiko Okada is the producer.
WIT Studio has been killing it with anime such as Attack on Titan, Seraph of the End, and soon Vinland Saga (July 7, 2019) This is definitely a series you should keep up with.
