Two men standing outside, one wearing sunglasses and a jacket, the other gesturing with one hand. Building storefronts are visible in the background.

As we come to grips with the passing of comic book legend Stan Lee, we need not look further than at all the tributes sent on social media from people of ALL professions, and ages. Here are just a few examples:

Stan Lee created a universe where, if a character was beloved enough, they could never really die.

    Now THAT’S thinking ahead.

Thanks for so much of my life. You’ll never not be in it.

Born before Edwin Hubble discovered the expanding universe, he ultimately created an expanding universe of his own - one of scientifically literate superheroes such as Spider-Man , The Hulk, Iron Man, & Black Panther.

He inspired millions with his myriad, “Marvelous” characters, from Spiderman to Black Panther, Thor to the X-Men. Legendary creator Stan Lee is dead at 95. But his stories will live on and continue to ignite the imaginations of generations to come. Rest with the stars, great sir.

His contribution to Pop Culture was revolutionary & cannot be overstated. He was everything you hoped he would be & MORE. I loved this man & will never stop missing him. They say you should never meet a childhood idol. They are wrong. #RIPStanTheMan pic.twitter.com/6OKH07ahJg

Only got to meet Stan the man Lee once but it was a thrill. Marvel comics was of the best things I remember about being a kid. Thanks for everything. What would we have done within you.… https://t.co/5K4YWUTXp0

What a man. What a life.
When I first broke into Hollywood, he welcomed me with open arms and some very sage advice I’ll forever take to heart.
A true icon who impacted generations around the world.
    Rest in love, my friend. #imagination #stanlee 💫 pic.twitter.com/dw3FXMgyHp

He changed the way we look at heroes, and modern comics will always bear his indelible mark. His infectious enthusiasm reminded us why we all fell in love with these stories in the first place. Excelsior, Stan.

“Stan Lee was as extraordinary as the characters he created. A super hero in his own right to Marvel fans around the world, Stan had the power to inspire, to entertain, and to connect." – Bob Igerhttps://t.co/x88rzoNDgx pic.twitter.com/yNORZrbQTB

We lost a real-life superhero today. Stan Lee was a visionary, who elevated imaginations across the globe. I’m grateful for the time I got to spend with him. Rest peacefully, Stan. pic.twitter.com/Ie2S18y0A0

@TheRealStanLee your imagination is filled with Super Powers .. and will live on forever... RIP

    — Henry Winkler (@hwinkler4real) November 12, 2018

This just scratches the surface. He touched so many lives with his work. His life reflected the quote by Abraham Lincoln: “In the end, it’s not the years in your life that count, it’s the life in your years” In that aspect, Stan Lee filled a lot of living in his 95 years. We here at GVNation sends our condolences to the family, friends, and millions of fans who feel the loss of “The Man!”
