Zack Snyder Confirms Darkseid Was Supposed To Be In The DCEU

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]The Justice League talk never ends and the latest confirmation by Zack Snyder himself is that in the movie, when Batman was referring to “something darker”, he was referring to Darkseid. Before Snyder exited the DCEU, he had planned a two-parter for Justice League, which would have debuted the well-known DC villain. We know that those behind the #ReleaseTheSnyderCut movement will be pretty bummed to hear this.

We never know what may happen, as Ava Duvernay’s upcoming New Gods, which will see the war between Apokolips and New Genesis may explore Darkseid and other characters. Fans may not have Snyder, but with critically-acclaimed Duvernay now in the DC chair, I think fans should only look positively towards the future.

Are you bummed to not see Darkseid in the Snyder-verse? Let us know![/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
