There was just something about Zombieland that keeps you wanting more, maybe its the cast? We got word a few months ago that FINALLY there would be a sequel to the 2009 film and that the main cast consisting of Woody Harrelson, Jesse Eisenberg, Emma Stone and Abigail Breslin would all be coming back and Ruben Fleischer set to direct once more.
The current storyline set for the film says the following
Columbus, Tallahasse, Wichita, and Little Rock move to the American heartland as they face off against evolved zombies, fellow survivors, and the growing pains of the snarky makeshift family.
Today we got news from our friends over at SuperBroMovies that not only confirms this but it also gives more details. According to SuperBroMovies the film will pick up after the events of the first with the 4 main characters living as a family and trying to survive the undead. The four are now living a life of luxury in the White House when Columbus and Wichita have an arguement that splits the crew up and forces Little Rock to run off with newcomer Avan Jogia who will play Berkeley and the love interest of Little Rock. As the group goes to rescue Little Rock they run into some newly evolved zombies that won’t make life easy for the group. The zombies are now listed as Homers (which are normal slow dumb zombies), Hawkings (which are smart), and Ninjas (which are the most deadly). A ninja zombie? I cannot wait to see this.
Tallahassee’s character meets a new female zombie hunter code named Nevada, Nevada could very well be played by Zoey Deutch but that is not confirmed and SBM does allude to her playing the character either. Reports a few months back indicated that Bill Murray and Dan Aykroyd would be playing ficitonal versions of themselves. Bill Murray played himself in the first film but *SPOILER ALERT* met his demise at the hands of an itchy trigger finger.
