WandaVision‘ is nearing the end of its show stopping debut on Disney+ and ‘Falcon and the Winter Soldier’ is preparing to debut on March 19th for the site with much anticipation building. Following the exciting appearances of both these shows fans are already looking forward to the of Marvel Cinematic TV on the streaming site, and one of those upcoming shows, secret Invasion, is teasing some exciting news.
The series has announced casting details for three roles:
“A male series regular, between the ages of 50-60 years, who will be ‘Secret Invasions’s’ main antagonist. The second is a female role played by someone who appears to be between the ages of 40-50 years, who will also be a series regular and shares many scenes with [Samuel L] Jackson’s Nick Fury. finally, there is a call for an important supporting role to be played by a younger female actor.”
It is unknown exactly who these characters will be but fan speculation has come up with some possibilities. Dorrek VII could be the main antagonist of the series, who served as Emperor of the Skrull Empire at one point. Abigail Brand could be the younger supporting role, she has the ability to create a blue flame that can burn through most metals.
‘Secret Invasion’ has confirmed the return of Samuel L Jackson as Nick Fury and Ben Mendelsohn as Talos and will based upon the 2008 comic storyline of the same name.
