The next installment of the IT franchise takes place 27 years after the events of the first film. We already know our cast members for the adult Losers club, but it seems like the younger crew will return for some flashback scenes. Filming is now underway for the hit suspense thriller’s sequel and we all know that no set scenes are safe from the internet; although none of us fans are going to complain.
In a recent video posted on Twitter, we see adult Beverly Marsh (played by Jessica Chastain) presumably reminiscing of when she and Bill were younger. Sophia Lillis and Jaeden Lieberher make their returns as Beverly and Bill, respectively; for this flashback scene. The two are walking their bikes side by side and I have to assume that adult Beverly is looking back at this as a fond memory, perhaps when things were simpler and innocent. I’m going to go out on a limb and say Beverly and Bill didn’t stay in touch as they got older and returning to Derry, Maine is inspiring these memories to pop up.
You can check out the scene below and wait patiently for the second installment of IT, premiering September 6, 2019. IT: Chapter Two will see the return of Bill Skarsgard as Pennywise and stars James McAvoy, Jessica Chastain, Jay Ryan, Bill Hader, Isaiah Mustafa, James Ransone, and Andy Bean.
