The future is uncertain and unclear which is how the sci-fi genre was founded. This genre gives us possible predictions of it and takes us years into what humanity will look like. Certain video games take this approach as well and let you take an active role in our future. Some of it is good, while the other is bad, but anything is possible in the world of never-ending tomorrow. Here are some games that give you a potential future for humanity:

Nuclear Chaos – The Fallout Franchise

There are several countries that have nukes today and if they use them then it will be game over for most of humanity. The Fallout franchise takes you to a world where a nuke has been dropped and you happen to be one of the survivors in the Vaults. As things take a rough turn down there you’ll make your way to the world of tomorrow. In New Vegas, you’ll get a post-apocalyptic version of Sin City itself and you’ll even get to visit some casinos if you want to.

Vegas is fine today despite the fact that most of the casino industry is online nowadays. Sites like www.spinsify.com/uk/ cover the many casinos with their table, live, and slot games. The main thing about them is to enjoy them and their games responsibly.

Nuclear chaos is at hand in this game franchise as various human factions fight for survival. We’ve had the worst of it, but we’re trying to rebuild and this process will have you jumping over hurdles. Human or mutant ones.

A Unity of Humans and Aliens – Mass Effect

Space exploration has been going on for years and in the universe of Mass Effect, we’ve discovered mass relays that have advanced our technology significantly. That’s how we’ve made contact with other races and decided to coexist with them. The Citadel guides all the known universe and it’s made of various alien species.

You’ll play as Shepherd and take a mission which is a test of your abilities to join the team of Specters which is like intergalactic police. But you’ll soon find out that not all aliens are friendly and the society we live in isn’t perfect. This is true for today’s society which goes to show that the future isn’t much different from the present.

Every Race for Itself – Warhammer 40K Dawn of War

The future of humanity is looking bad in the 43rd millennium as humanity has come together under a single banner – the Imperium of Man. The Space Marines and Imperials represent humanity and as resources are crumbling and men and machines fuse, the only solution to the problem is to conquer new worlds. The planet of Kronos is ripe for the taking in Dawn of War, but we’ll need to face and defeat the other races first. We’ll go against Necrons, Orks, Tau, Chaos Space Marines, and more if we’re looking to survive. So, in the future it’s possible we make contact with other species, but we’ll also need to destroy them to ensure our existence.
