In this era of long-awaited sequels, you should not be surprised to hear that the Police Academy franchise is getting another film. Almost twenty years later, this hit-movie series will get an addition, according to Steve Guttenberg from the first couple of movies.

Now, Police Academy tried to come back several times in the past decade or so, but in this era, anything is possible. This would be the eighth movie in the franchise and if we remember, this comedy is one of the best from the 80s. Plenty of references have been made in films, television, and cartoons throughout the years.
