Aaron Paul Teases What’s in Store for Westworld Season Three

Westworld season three is some time away, but we already know a few tidbits of information thanks to newcomer Aaron Paul. You may know him best as Jesse Pinkman in the popular show Breaking Bad, but the actor has been confirmed for the next season.

Pinkman teased:

‘All I can say is it’s par for the course. What is so great about Westworld is it’s just so inventive and different and dangerous and gory, but this doesn’t shy away from that, this particular new addition. ‘I’ve been such a massive fan from day one, so this is such a great, fun opportunity to take on.’

We aren’t sure if Paul will be a human or a host, but we know that with Westworld, not everything is the way it seems. Luke Hemsworth’s character, Ashley Stubbs; who we thought was a human this whole time, pretty much alluded to being a host in the finale of season two. And as we saw in the post-credit scene of the second season, Ed Harris’ William is most likely now a robot.

Showrunner Lisa Joy has teased that we are in for a bigger and more intense third season:

‘It is our biggest undertaking as of yet. The great thing about season three is, when we were writing the pilot, the major storyline for season three was already something that we had talked about non-stop.’ She added: ‘We’ve been waiting to get to this place and now that we’ve arrived here, we already have a very strong idea of exactly where we want to go and we can’t wait to get there.’

What do you think about Aaron Paul being cast in Westworld? Who do you want to see come back from season two? A personal favorite of mine is obviously Ben Barnes and I’d love to see Gustaf Skarsgard come back to explore his character.
