Aaron Taylor-Johnson Says Quicksilver Will Not Be Returning Any Time Soon

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”32422″ img_size=”675×379″ alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]When Pietro Maximoff met his untimely demise in Avengers: Age of Ultron, it was sad for a number of reasons. One, the character was hardly utilized before his unfortunate end. Number two, the young actor who played him was a fan favorite who didn’t get enough exposure. However, it was hoped with the advent of Disney+, there might be an avenue for his return. Unfortunately, this does not appear the case, at least not in the near future.

This is according to the aforementioned Aaron Taylor-Johnson. He recently talked to ScreenRant about Quicksilver and if the character might make a return.

I think we’re both open to possibilities. Like the Marvel Universe has been over the years. And obviously yes, I’m aware of the Disney+ platform and all of the shows that are ongoing. I’m still in touch with a lot of the people. I mean, I think it’s safe to say that no, I’m not gonna… there will be no appearance of me coming out or Quicksilver appearing anytime soon.

While this might be a disappointment for those fans of the character and the actor, always remember this is Marvel after all. Stranger things have happened in the comics. And since these projects are based on the comics, who knows what the future will bring. Would you be open to see Quicksilver return to the MCU? Whether in film or Disney+?
