Grillo and Freeman will star in the action-thriller Panama. Daniel Adams will direct this movie, which is based on true events, according to Deadline.
The movie is set in Panama in 1989 and follows Grillo’s James Becker, who is described as a rugged and decorated former Marine. James is sent undercover by his former commander, Freeman’s Stark. The mission is following through a deal with untrustworthy individuals. Becker will have to deal with the civil war of the time, fight local assassins, contend with femme fatales, and negotiate with the enemy.
