Disney’s live-action Aladdin is bringing in a very well-known actor to voice Iago – the parrot sidekick of villain Jafar who was made famous by Gilbert Gottfried voicing the character for the three animated movies. While we’ve seen now two trailers for the upcoming movie, we’ve not seen if Iago would be involved, leading many to believe that they wouldn’t include him. But, we’re learning that Alan Tudyk has been brought in to voice this iconic character.

Tudyk has a long history of well-known roles and right now you can find him playing Mr. Nobody in DC Universe’s Doom Patrol. Marwan Kenzari is playing Jafar, while Will Smith is the Genie, Mena Massoud is Aladdin, and Naomi Scott is Jasmine.
Aladdin comes out May 24th – will you be in the theater to see it?
